This is a cpd of approx 40 minutes long and covers all the information needed when designing a waterproofing scheme, ideally suited to large waterproofing companies or architects practices, this is a power point presentation. This also covers bs8102 the code of practice for waterproofing below ground.

Basement conversions for existing basements

This a cpd of approx 40 minutes ,and covers all the points and design criteria when converting existing basements covering bs8102 the code of practice for waterproofing below ground Also we cover the importance of drainage and design considerations for radon protection to these structures This is suited to architects and professional bodies involved in waterproofing and also for basement waterproofing companies as well as builders and developers

Dampness in buildings

This cpd is approx 40 minutes long and covers the different problems associated with dampness in buildings from rising damp to condensation and penetrating damp. It is very important when designing schemes to include ventallation and this training module covers all these points. This training module is approx 40 minutes long and covers the use of cavity drain membranes and tanking systems above ground Ideally suited to contractors and local authorities and developers we discuss the issues of render systems in properties ,we also talk about the use of these systems after floods etc

Basement waterproofing installation procedures

This training module is approx 4 hours long and covers basement conversion techniques ,as well as the implications of failures. We cover sump pump systems and also the problems associated with drainage in basement conversions. This course is ideally suited to the installation teams of contractors
