When installing Wykamol Cavity Drainage membranes careful attention must be given to provide a suitable drainage solution. Natural drainage is not normally possible or convenient in below ground situations, so mechanical drainage must be used.
Wykamol offer a large range of pumps for the control of water movement and can supply everything the contractor needs for flooded basements.
In certain instances a more powerful pump maybe required (greater height pumping capability) or a 2nd pump is required as a backup in case the first one fails.
Wykamol can advise the contractor in this instance what the correct pump would be for these situations. Please see our standard pump specification the (Goliath 50 pmua2).
If this is not powerful enough the Wykamol technical team can advise on a range of alternatives. Care must be taken when installing sump pumps to ensure they are accessible for maintenance and checked on a regular basis to ensure they are working correctly.
